About My Daily Maths

My Daily Maths provides completely free, printable maths worksheets for primary school children in the United Kingdom. Every single worksheet on this site is aligned to the England National Curriculum, ensuring that children practise exactly the skills they need to succeed in their maths education.

We believe that high-quality educational resources should be accessible to every family and every school, regardless of budget. That is why every worksheet we publish is available to download and print at no cost, with no registration required.

Our worksheets are designed around the principle of daily practice. Research consistently shows that short, regular practice sessions are far more effective for building mathematical fluency than longer, infrequent study periods. Each worksheet is crafted to be completed in approximately 10 to 15 minutes, making it the perfect daily activity for a morning starter in the classroom, a homework task, or a quick practice session at the kitchen table after school.

Who Are Our Worksheets For?

Parents & Carers

Support your child's learning at home with structured, curriculum-aligned worksheets. No need to guess what your child should be practising. Our worksheets follow the same progression your child's teacher uses in the classroom, giving you confidence that the practice is relevant and beneficial.

Teachers

Use our worksheets as ready-made morning starters, homework sheets, or supplementary practice during lessons. The consistent three-section format means children quickly learn what to expect, reducing instruction time and maximising productive practice. All worksheets are print-ready in a clear, child-friendly layout.

Tutors

Whether you offer one-to-one tuition or run small group sessions, our worksheets provide a structured resource you can rely on. The progressive topic structure allows you to target specific areas where a child needs extra support, while the reasoning section provides material for guided discussion and deeper exploration.

How Our Worksheets Are Structured

Every My Daily Maths worksheet follows a consistent three-section format that has been carefully designed to develop a complete range of mathematical competencies. This structure reflects the three core aims of the England National Curriculum for mathematics: fluency, problem solving, and reasoning.

Section 1

Fluency

The fluency section provides focused practice on core arithmetic and number skills. Questions are designed to build speed and accuracy through repetition. This section helps children develop the automatic recall and procedural knowledge they need to tackle more complex problems with confidence. Examples include number bonds, counting sequences, basic calculations, and pattern recognition.

Section 2

Word Problems

The word problems section presents mathematical concepts within real-world contexts. Children must read and interpret a scenario, identify the relevant mathematical operation, and calculate the answer. This develops comprehension skills alongside mathematical ability and helps children understand why maths matters in everyday life. Problems are written in clear, age-appropriate language with relatable scenarios.

Section 3

Reasoning

The reasoning section challenges children to think more deeply about mathematical concepts. Questions might ask children to explain their thinking, spot errors, find patterns, or solve multi-step problems. This section develops higher-order thinking skills and mathematical communication, both of which are essential for long-term mathematical success and are assessed in the national curriculum tests.

Curriculum Alignment

All of our worksheets are written to align with the England National Curriculum programmes of study for mathematics. We carefully map each worksheet to the specific curriculum objectives for the relevant year group, ensuring that the content is age-appropriate, correctly sequenced, and pedagogically sound. Each worksheet displays its curriculum reference so that teachers and parents can see exactly which objectives are being covered.

Our content is structured around topics and subtopics that mirror the way mathematics is typically taught in English primary schools. Within each topic, subtopics are arranged in weekly blocks of five daily worksheets, providing a natural rhythm of progressive practice. This structure supports the mastery approach recommended by the Department for Education, where children develop deep understanding of each concept before moving on.

What We Cover

We currently offer comprehensive worksheet collections for Year 1 (Key Stage 1, ages 5-6) and Year 2 (Key Stage 1, ages 6-7). Our Year 1 collection includes over 140 worksheets spanning 10 topics: Addition and Subtraction, Measurements, Telling Time, Counting, Money, Fractions, Multiplication, Shapes, Position and Direction, and Ordinal Numbers. Our Year 2 collection covers Money, Addition and Subtraction, Shapes, Position and Direction, Fractions, and Telling Time, with more topics being added.

We are actively working on expanding our coverage to include Year 3 through Year 6. Our goal is to provide a complete primary maths resource covering every year group from Reception to Year 6. We announce new content on our site as it becomes available, so please check back regularly or bookmark your year group page.

Our Commitment

My Daily Maths is built on the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to develop strong mathematical foundations. We are committed to keeping all of our worksheets completely free. There are no premium tiers, no hidden paywalls, and no subscriptions. Every worksheet is available to everyone, forever.

We also care deeply about quality. Each worksheet is reviewed to ensure mathematical accuracy, clear presentation, and appropriate difficulty for the target year group. If you ever spot an error or have a suggestion for improvement, we welcome your feedback through our contact page.
