Year 1: Position (Week 1)
5 daily worksheets — Part of Position & Direction
About Year 1 Position Worksheets
Can your child describe where things are? These free Year 1 position worksheets develop spatial vocabulary that children use every day. Words like above, below, next to, between, and behind are essential for maths, and these worksheets make learning them enjoyable.
Over five daily worksheets, your child will practise using and understanding positional language. They'll describe where objects are in pictures, follow instructions to place objects in given positions, and solve word problems about position. This vocabulary is fundamental for later work on coordinates and directions.
